Covid-19: masks no longer required on public transport
For several weeks, the spread of Covid-19 has been contained and is now back at the levels observed prior to the fifth wave. In light of these positive developments, the Sovereign Prince, at the recommendation of His Government, has decided to lift the requirement to wear masks when using public transport, taxis, and chauffeur-driven vehicles, with effect from Saturday 4 June.
From now on, the wearing of masks will be mandatory only in healthcare facilities and care homes for the elderly.
The Prince’s Government reminds the public that the use of masks continues to be strongly advised in enclosed spaces for persons at risk or at large gatherings, and that health measures in force may be adapted to reflect changes in the health situation.
