Covid-19: 82 positive cases and 48 cured this Friday 31 December

Eighty-two new positive cases of Covid-19 were revealed this Friday 31st December.

This brings the total number of people affected by the coronavirus in the Principality to 5,167 since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, 30 people are being treated at the CHPG: 26 people, including 10 residents, are hospitalised. Four other patients, including one resident, are being treated in intensive care.

There were 48 additional recoveries. The total number of people healed is 4636.

As of Friday evening, 411 people are being monitored by the Home Monitoring Centre, which provides medical support to patients with few symptoms who are advised to stay at home.
