Covid-19: 72 new positive cases and 69 cured on Tuesday 8 February

Seventy-two new positive cases of Covid-19 were revealed on Tuesday 8th February.

This brings the total number of people affected by the coronavirus in the Principality to 8,880 since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, 69 people are being treated at the CHPG: 68 people, including 59 residents, are hospitalised. One other patient, who is non-resident, is being treated in intensive care.

There were 69 additional recoveries. The total number of healed people is 8,548.

As of Tuesday evening, 175 people are being monitored by the Home Monitoring Centre, which provides medical support to patients with few symptoms who are advised to stay at home.

In order to comply with the practices adopted by the World Health Organisation and neighbouring countries in this matter, this daily report only mentions resident persons affected by the coronavirus.
