Covid-19: 51 new positive cases and 123 cured on Monday 31 January

Fifty-one new positive cases of Covid-19 were revealed this Monday 31st January.

This brings the total number of people affected by the coronavirus in the Principality to 8359 since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, 86 people are being treated at the CHPG: 85 people, including 66 residents, are hospitalised. Another patient, a non-resident, is being treated in intensive care.

There were 123 additional recoveries. The total number of people healed is 7980.

As of Monday evening, 263 people are being monitored by the Home Monitoring Centre, which provides medical support to patients with few symptoms who are advised to stay at home.

In order to comply with the practices adopted by the World Health Organisation and neighbouring countries in this matter, this daily report only mentions resident persons affected by the coronavirus.

The Government of Monaco also communicates the figures relating to screening. These figures are up to and including Sunday 30th January.
- Number of tests performed on resident and non-resident patients between 24/01 and 30/01 inclusive: 7163 PCR and antigenic tests.
- Positivity rate of tests performed on residents and non-residents: 15.76%.
- Incidence rate, i.e. the number of positive persons based on 100,000 persons over the past 7 days: 1890 (2157 last week).
