Covid-19: 38 new positive cases and 88 cured on Monday 7 February

Thirty-eight new positive cases of Covid-19 were revealed on Monday 7th February.

This brings the total number of people affected by the coronavirus in the Principality to 8,808 since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, 72 people are being treated at the CHPG: 70 people, including 60 residents, are hospitalised. Two other patients, non-residents, are being treated in intensive care.

There were 88 additional recoveries. The total number of healed people is 8479.

As of Monday evening, 193 people are being monitored by the Home Monitoring Centre, which provides medical support to patients with few symptoms who are advised to stay at home.

In order to comply with the practices adopted by the World Health Organisation and neighbouring countries in this matter, this daily report only mentions resident persons affected by the coronavirus.

The Government of Monaco also communicates the figures relating to screening. These figures are up to and including Sunday 6 February.
- Number of tests carried out on resident and non-resident patients between 31/01 and 06/02 inclusive: 7042 PCR and antigenic tests.
- Positivity rate of tests performed on residents and non-residents: 12.23%.
- Incidence rate, i.e. the number of positive persons based on 100,000 persons over the past 7 days: 1205 (1890 last week).
