Covid-19: 34 new positive cases and 59 cured on Monday 28 February

Thirty-four new positive cases of Covid-19 were revealed on Monday 28th February.

The health balance sheet for the Principality therefore stands at 9411 people affected by the coronavirus since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, 6 people are being treated at the CHPG: 5 people, including 3 residents, are hospitalised. Another patient, a non-resident, is being treated in intensive care.
There were 50 additional recoveries. The total number of people healed is 9190.

As of Monday evening, 100 people are being monitored by the Home Monitoring Centre, which provides medical support to patients with few symptoms who are advised to stay at home.

In order to comply with the practices adopted by the World Health Organisation and neighbouring countries in this matter, this daily report only mentions resident persons affected by the coronavirus.

The Government of Monaco also communicates the figures relating to screening. These figures are up to and including Sunday 27 February.
- Number of tests carried out on resident and non-resident patients between 21/02 and 27/02 inclusive: 3748 PCR and antigenic tests.
- Positivity rate of tests performed on residents and non-residents: 9.02%.
- Incidence rate, i.e. the number of positive persons based on 100,000 persons over the past 7 days: 493 (436 last week).
