Covid-19: 21 new positive cases and 30 cured on Monday 9 May

Twenty-one new positive cases of Covid-19 were revealed on Monday 9 May.

This brings the total number of people affected by the coronavirus in the Principality to 11,946 since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, 8 people, including 4 residents, are hospitalised at the CHPG. There are no patients being treated in intensive care.

There are 30 additional recoveries. The total number of healed people is 11,796.

As of Monday evening, 84 people are being monitored by the Home Monitoring Centre, which provides medical support to patients with few symptoms who are advised to stay at home.

In order to comply with the practices adopted by the World Health Organisation and neighbouring countries in this matter, this daily report only mentions resident persons affected by the coronavirus.

The Government of Monaco also communicates the figures relating to screening. These figures are up to and including Sunday 8 May.
- Number of tests carried out on resident and non-resident patients between 02/05 and 08/05 inclusive: 1896 PCR and antigenic tests.
- Positivity rate of tests performed on residents and non-residents: 13.7%.
- Incidence rate, i.e. the number of positive persons based on 100,000 persons over the past 7 days: 393 (433 last week).
