Covid-19: 20 new positive cases and 35 cured on Friday 4 March

Twenty new positive cases of Covid-19 were revealed this Friday 4 March.

This brings the total number of people affected by the coronavirus in the Principality to 9520 since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, 12 people are being treated at the CHPG: 11 people, including 2 residents, are hospitalised.Another patient, a non-resident, is being treated in intensive care.

There are 35 additional recoveries. The total number of people healed is 9299.

As of Friday evening, 112 people are being monitored by the Home Monitoring Centre, which provides medical support to patients with few symptoms who are advised to stay at home.

In order to comply with the practices adopted by the World Health Organisation and neighbouring countries in this matter, this daily report only mentions the resident persons affected by the coronavirus.

With regard to the vaccination strategy, as of 27 February 2022, nearly 78,270 vaccine injections have been administered. 71.6% of the resident population eligible for the vaccine has received a complete vaccination schedule. This rate is greater than or equal to 62% for all age groups from 18 years onwards. It is close to 82% among 55-64 year olds and 95% among those aged 75 and over.
