Members of the first Section of the Committee for Coordination and Monitoring of the National Strategy on Money Laundering, Financing of Terrorism and the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction and corruption held a meeting on Thursday 15 May, chaired by Ms Isabelle Berro- Amadeï, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and acting Minister of State.

The meeting was an opportunity to highlight progress made by related services and authorities since the International Cooperation Review Group of the FATF began monitoring the Principality. Monaco’s first progress report will be adopted at the next FATF Plenary Meeting held next June.

The next steps in the ongoing process were also addressed. Related services and authorities were asked to keep up their efforts so that Monaco could be removed from the grey list as soon as possible.
