On Thursday, nursing students from the class of 2024–2027 met their class sponsor, Christophe Robino, the Minister of Health and Social Affairs, at a reception held at the Monaco Institute of Nurse Training (IFSI).

The Monaco Institute of Nurse Training, known for the quality of its education and its academic rigour, is training 32 students as part of this class, most of them hailing from the PACA region of France.

Drawing on his experience as the former Head of the Medical Specialities and Haemodialysis Department at Monaco’s Princess Grace Hospital, Christophe Robino has extensive knowledge of Princess Grace Hospital and a clear vision of the Monegasque healthcare system. His commitment to health and his expertise make him a sponsor who is both realistic about the challenges posed by the profession and aware of the issues that this class of students will encounter throughout their careers.

Thanks to IFSI, you will be trained under the best possible circumstances. Your grounding in Monaco’s medical DNA will play a full part in the quality and excellence of care that you will provide when you become nurses.”

During the official ceremony held at IFSI, the Minister of Health and Social Affairs was keen to emphasise the critical role played by students within the Monegasque healthcare system, and the opportunities available to them, bearing in mind that 80% of graduates will join Princess Grace Hospital after completing their training.
