Awards ceremony held by the National Association of Members of the National Order of Merit
On the 60th anniversary of the creation of the National Order of Merit by General de Gaulle, the National Association of Members of the National Order of Merit (ANMONM), in the foreign section of Monaco, organised an awards ceremony for deserving young people and adults at the premises of the Maison de France.
This ceremony took place in the presence of H.E. Yvette LAMBIN-BERTI, Secretary of State, representing H.S.H. Prince Albert II, Michelle MAUDUIT-PALLANCA, President of the Monaco section of ANMONM and the Members of the Board of Directors, Patrick SANDEVOIR, President of ANMONM, Denis FADDA, President of the World section of ANMONM and H.E. Jean d'HAUSSONVILLE, French Ambassador to Monaco.
The following prizes were awarded:
Civic Prize:
- Mrs BOURROUX and Mr VALENTIN for their commitment to the Monaco Red Cross;
French Language Prize:
- Mrs HANEUSE HEYE for her commitment to defending the French language and the cultural equality of children throughout the world;
Memorial Initiative Prize:
- Sergeant-Major VOGELSINGER and Palace Guard SICART, Palace Guards Corps, for their book on Monaco’s participation in the Great War;
Citizen Engagement Prize:
- Commander AUDAT, Monaco Fire and Emergency Service, in recognition of his voluntary and sporting commitment, in particular with people with disability.
