Visit by Martin Ociepa, Polish Under-Secretary of State
On 17 May 2018, Martin Ociepa, Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology of Poland, made a visit to the Principality, accompanied by a delegation*.
A meeting was held for the occasion at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. The discussions focused on economic issues, in particular negotiations on an association agreement between Monaco and the European Union and the development of bilateral trade and investment exchanges between the two countries.
With regard to the environment, the two delegations referred to the energy transition initiated by Monaco and Poland and also to the forthcoming participation, next November, of a Monegasque delegation in the 24th Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 24), which will take place in Katowice, Poland.
