The Embassy of Monaco in Berlin Hosts a Meeting of the Honorary Consuls in Germany, Austria and Poland
On 25 June 2021, the Embassy of Monaco in Berlin held a videoconference with all of the Principality's Consular Corps accredited in Germany, Austria and Poland. Monaco currently has six Consulates in Germany (Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Potsdam and Stuttgart), one in Austria (Vienna) and one in Poland (Warsaw).
H.E. Mr. Frédéric Labarrere, Ambassador of the Principality of Monaco to Germany, Austria and Poland, and his two colleagues, therefore had an opportunity to present the key events that took place in Monaco in 2020 and 2021 to the Consuls, as well as the main health and economic measures implemented by the Prince's Government in response to the effects of the pandemic.
Each of the Consuls was then able to discuss the situations encountered in his or her consular district and the activities undertaken for the benefit of the Principality despite the constraints.
Finally, three representatives of Monegasque entities spoke from Monaco: Mr. Michel Bouquier, who is responsible for the Monaco Private Label, Mr. Guy Antognelli, Director of Monaco Tourist and Convention Authority, and Mr. Guillaume Rose , Executive Director General of the Monaco Economic Board.
The meeting closed with a toast in honour of the Royal Family and for the prosperity of the Principality.
