Reception in Brussels in honour of the anniversary of the accession of His Serene Highness the Sovereign Prince
On 29 June, H.E. Mrs Sophie Thevenoux, Ambassador of the Principality of Monaco to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of Monaco’s Mission to the European Union, and Mr Marc Thevenoux celebrated the anniversary of the accession of His Serene Highness the Sovereign Prince by hosting a grand reception in the gardens of their Residence in Brussels. The reception was attended by nearly 300 guests.
These guests included leading officials from the Kingdom, numerous ambassadors from countries which are friends of the Principality, and representatives from various European institutions (the European Council, Commission and Parliament).
Several governors from Belgium’s provinces and Monaco’s consuls also joined figures from Belgian economic and financial circles.
The atmosphere at the reception was extremely cordial, and the event afforded all participants an opportunity to offer their best wishes for the health and happiness of His Serene Highness the Sovereign Prince and his family.
