Monaco Submits its New Specimen Passports to the ICAO
Ms. Diane Vachon, Honorary Consul General of Monaco in Montreal, Permanent Representative of the Principality of Monaco to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), officially handed over specimens of Monaco's new passports to the Director of Air Transport, Mr. Mohamed Khalifa Rahma, at the Organization's headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
The handover took place in the presence of Ms. Narjess Abdennebi, Head of the Facilitation Section at Aviation Security and Mr. Sylvain Lefoyer, Deputy Director.
Note that the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) was created by the Chicago Convention on 7 December 1944. As a specialised agency of the United Nations, it is responsible for establishing the global regulatory framework for international civil aviation safety.
