The Monaco Pavilion at the 2nd China International Import Expo

At the initiative of Monaco’s Embassy in China, the Principality is taking part in the second China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai from 5 to 10 November.

Located in the National Pavilions Hall, the Monaco Pavilion will host ten Monegasque companies under the umbrella of the Monaco Economic Board – Aton Green Energy, C2MC, GPS Monaco, L’Orangerie, Mazza Immobilier, Monacobor, Therascience, Carthage Héritage, ABTS & Partners and Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer – within a space of 136 m².

The expo, championed by President Xi Jinping, was first held in 2018, and the President was keen for this annual event to be the world’s leading import and international trade exhibition. More than 150 countries and nearly 4,000 exhibitors are participating in the second CIIE, to be held in a 270,000 m² space on the outskirts of Shanghai. Numerous foreign delegations are expected during the first two days of the expo, which will be officially opened by the Chinese President on 5 November.
