Today, H.E. the Minister of State opened the Diplomatic Conference, which is organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. As every year, this event is being held in the Principality for two days, and brings together Monaco's entire Diplomatic Corps.

In his opening speech, Serge Telle referred to the launch of digital transition, stressing that "Monaco has the resources, structures and advantages to adapt to the civilisational digital revolution and turn it into an asset." After highlighting the Ambassadors' role in this transition, he asked them about the means they require to support this change.

The Government Ministers then addressed the meeting on various topical issues relating to their respective Ministries. Speakers from the MEB, SBM and other entities spoke in turn to inform the Ambassadors on issues of shared interest. The day came to a close with a presentation entitled "Monaco and the Ocean: from exploration to protection," by the Prince Albert II Foundation, the Oceanographic Museum and Monaco Scientific Centre.

Tomorrow, an update on the negotiations between Monaco and Europe will be presented to the Ambassadors, as well as a report on the activities of the Department of International Cooperation.

The conference will end with a visit to the premises of MonacoTech, a start-up incubator/accelerator created by the Monegasque State in partnership with Monaco Telecom.

A report will be available on Monaco Info from this evening
