On Monday 29 January 2018, at a luncheon held at the Hotel Hermitage, Gilles Tonelli, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, received H.E. Mr. Walter Grahammer, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria;  H.E. Mr. Brendan Berne, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Australia;  H.E. Mr. Vinay Mohan Kwatra, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India and H.E. Ms. Martine Schommer, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, who presented their Letters of Credence to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince during the morning.

H.E. Mr. Walter Grahammer joined the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in 1990, where he became Director and later Deputy Chief of Staff to the Federal Minister.  In 2004, he was appointed Deputy Permanent Representative at the Permanent Representation of Austria to the European Union.  In 2010, he was appointed Director General of the Federal Ministry of Foreign and International Affairs.

An economist by training, H.E.Mr. Brendan Berne joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in 2000, where he held the posts of Director of the Trade Finance Section, then Deputy Director-General of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Section.  In March 2015, he was promoted to Ambassador for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation and First Deputy Director General of the Trade, Investment and Economic Diplomacy Division.  He then became Chief of Staff to the Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment.

H.E. Mr. Vinay Mohan Kwatra joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1988.  He was appointed Consul in Karachi in 1993, then in Durban in 1994.  He then served as delegate, successively, to the Secretariat of the SAARC, Planning and Research Policy in New Delhi and then the Prime Minister's Office.

After serving at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, where she later held the positions of Director of Political Affairs and Director of Development Cooperation, H.E. Ms. Martine Schommer held the posts, successively, of Diplomatic Advisor to the Prime Minister, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Luxembourg to the European Union in Brussels, Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany and Non-Resident Ambassador to Mali, Niger, Senegal and Burkina Faso.
