From 18 September 2020 to 31 January 2021, the New National Museum of Monaco is presenting the exhibition "Unstable Artifices - Stories of Ceramics" at the Villa Sauber.

In this exhibition, guest curator Cristiano Raimondi is offering visitors a chance to see inventions and experiments that depict not only the diversity of forms and decoration, but also the ceramic manufacturing processes.

With scenography that is half way between a workshop and a cabinet of curiosities, and taking the first productions of the Monaco Art Pottery Factory (1871-1918) as a starting point, the exhibition brings together a selection of more than 120 pieces by international artists such as Aaron Angell, Eugène Baudin, Chiara Camoni, Johan Creten, Albert Diato, Simone Fattal, Ron Nagle, George Ohr, Pablo Picasso, Brian Rochefort and Magdalena Suarez Frimkess.
