The Princess Grace Theatre (TPG) has just presented its programme for the 2019-2020 season.  Twenty-nine dates are scheduled.

Among those topping the bill, whom the TPG's audience will be able to see at the performances, are Lambert Wilson, Michèle Laroque, François Berléand, Catherine Hiegel, Christian Vadim, Romane Bohringer, Pierre Arditi, Charles Berling, Cristiana Reali, Michel Leeb and  Pierre Palmade.

The focus, more than ever, will be on the written word, in all its forms – from Harold Pinter to Molière and Alfred de Musset to the comedian Pierre Desproges, the renowned journalist Albert Londres and the pleadings of renowned lawyers.

In keeping with its spirit of collaboration with the Principality's main cultural players, the TPG will give three extra-mural performances, including a performance at the Grimaldi Forum.  For the first time, it will also host a film screening on the subject of "Theatre and Cinema," in partnership with the Monaco Audiovisual Institute, on Tuesday 4 February 2020.

Artistes engagés/Artistes en exil (Politically Committed Artists/Artists in Exile), a lecture and recital by the pianist Shani Diluka and the actor Charles Berling, will be given on Tuesday 5 November 2019, in association with the Prince Pierre Foundation.

Another innovation is a play in Italian on Tuesday 31 March 2020, as well as the now customary event for a young audience on the afternoon of Wednesday 18 December 2019.

Booking for season tickets will open from 26 June.   Non-season-ticket bookings will open from 2 September.
