Children's workshops - Winter Holidays 2024 at Villa Paloma
The Nouveau Musée National de Monaco is offering three children's workshops to coincide with the 'Pier Paolo Calzolari - Casa ideale' exhibition.
The museum and Rencontres Philosophiques Monaco are teaming up for the first time to give children the chance to explore art and philosophy over a two-day 'Art & Philo' workshop, which will be held on two occasions.

Organised by the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco and the Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco.
Over two afternoons, the children will be guided by cultural coordinator, Coline Matarazzo, to discover the works of Pier Paolo Calzolari before discussing the philosophical questions that arise on the themes of dreams and time with Alicia Polzella Gauduel, a practising philosopher and philosophy workshop leader.

For ages 6-9
Arte Povera artists created many works using basic materials such as plants, fabrics, and stones. Pier Paolo Calzolari works with lead, fleece, and salt.
During this workshop, the children will discover the artwork featured in the exhibition before exploring the reactions between paint and salt, observing the effects, and composing a nocturnal landscape with cultural coordinator, Sharon Jones.
