The Minister of State dropped in on Platinium Group SAM in Fontvieille on Wednesday 2 May, as part of his programme of regular visits to Monegasque companies. He was accompanied by Frédéric Genta, Country Chief Digital Officer for Monaco.

Established in 1985, Platinium Group is an internet ticketing software publisher which offers innovative, flexible solutions to maximise online ticket sales. The Group supplies its software to major motorsports events, such as the F1 Grand Prix, Formula E, MotoGP, WorldSuperbike and Motocross, and to the organisers of ATP and WTA circuit tennis tournaments.

Thanks to its expertise, it is now one of the leading players in its market segment. With just under 100 employees, 68 of whom are based in the Principality, the Group has a presence in 47 countries and a turnover of nearly EUR 100 million.

With its new partners Bpifrance and Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners, via its WINCH Capital 3 fund, and a banking pool (CEPAC and LCL), Platinium Group’s management team is keen to consolidate the Group’s position in the motorsports market and expand its services to reach a broader range of sporting and cultural event organisers.
