The Prince's Government Invests in Training

Today, the Minister of State inaugurated the Campus, a learning laboratory based at the premises of the Monaco Digital company in Fontvieille, in the presence, among others, of Jean Castellini, Patrice Cellario and Didier Gamerdinger, Minister of Finance and Economy, Minister of Interior and Minister of Health and Social Affairs respectively, Stéphane Valeri, President of the National Council, Frédéric Genta, Country Chief Digital Officer, Stéphan Bruno, Director of the Human Resources and Training Department, Anthony Boira, CEO of Monaco Digital and his staff, as well as several dignitaries.  In his speech, Serge Telle emphasised the importance of this new tool, which is essential for Monaco's digital strategy and is at the service of the Monegasque Administration:  "We will not be able to move forward, whatever the means we put into digital technology, without Government employees who are themselves invested in the innovative capacity that is required for meeting the challenges of tomorrow." 

The "Learning Lab," which occupies a fun, modular space of 250 m2, is the result of a partnership between the Prince's Government and Monaco Digital.  It brings together coaches, activity leaders, facilitators, human resources experts and digital experts, with a focus on shared values such as adventurousness, openness and sharing.  This venue, which is devoted to the development and deepening of knowledge, houses training rooms, spaces dedicated to co-building and innovation, co-working areas, a digital showroom and a studio for creating educational content. 

All civil servants and government employees will benefit from training or collaborative workshops at the Campus by the end of the year.  For the Administration, it is a matter of attracting talented staff, retaining them, developing their talents and enabling everyone to flourish, in particular through access to training and information for all. 

"Monaco will not succeed in its digital transformation without incorporating training with new digital tools.  Thus, the Administration will become the most inclusive and horizontal in the world," stated Frédéric Genta. "The Campus will enable us to work differently by promoting learning for all.  Digital transition requires a profound transformation in terms of the organisation of work and managerial practices," added Stéphan Bruno.
