The Committee for the Coordination and Monitoring of the National Strategy on the fight against Money Laundering
The two colleges of the Committee for the Coordination and Monitoring of the National Strategy on the Fight against Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction and Corruption met on Thursday 27 February, under the chairmanship of Ms Berro-Amadeï, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, also serving as Minister of State.
The successive meetings of the First College, followed by the plenary sessions, provided an opportunity to review the progress made since Monaco was placed on the FATF grey list.
Ms Berro-Amadeï thanked all those involved for their collective commitment and efforts to meet international standards in the fight against money laundering.
The Principality is preparing to submit its first progress report to the FATF, per its action plan. This progress will be the subject of upcoming discussions between the Monegasque delegation and FATF International Cooperation Review Group (ICRG) representatives.
