Committee for Coordination and Monitoring of the National Strategy on Money Laundering
Members of the first Section of the Committee for Coordination and Monitoring of the National Strategy on Money Laundering, Financing of Terrorism and the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction and Corruption held a meeting on Friday 11 July, chaired by Ms Isabelle BERRO-AMADEÏ, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and acting Minister of State.
The meeting was an opportunity to pay tribute to the dedicated efforts undertaken by the various departments and authorities concerned since the FATF’s International Co-operation Review Group (ICRG) began its review of the Principality.
Monaco is currently preparing for its second progress report, after the first was adopted by the FATF’s most recent plenary session.
At Friday’s meeting, representatives from the departments and authorities concerned were reminded of the next key milestones in the process, and invited to continue their work with the aim of ensuring the Principality is removed from the grey list as soon as possible.
