Diplomacy: accreditation of new Ambassadors – Iran – Thailand – Czech Republic – Turkmenistan
Friday 30 May, Ms Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, hosted four newly accredited Ambassadors at a lunch organised at the Hotel Hermitage:
H.E. Mr Mohammed Amin Nejad, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran, previously posted in Niger and accredited to Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon and Liberia
- H.E. Mr Sarun Charoensuwan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand, previously posted in Belgium
- H.E. Mr Jaroslav Kurfürst, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic, previously posted in Belgium
- H.E. Mr Maksat Chariev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, Ambassador and Permanent Delegate to UNESCO, also accredited to the Portuguese Republic (in residence in Paris)
After presenting their credentials to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince in the morning, the diplomats were able to exchange views with Ms Isabelle Berro- Amadeï in the presence of the Honorary Consuls of the Czech Republic and Kingdom of Thailand, as well as with representatives of the Monaco Economic Board and Monaco Private Label.
The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the relations of friendship and cooperation that the Principality maintains with each of these countries.
