Motor races: Salines car park ready to welcome spectators
The racing season kicks off soon with the 7th Monaco e-Prix on 27 April, followed by the 14th Historic Monaco Grand Prix from 10-12 May and the 81st Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix from 23-26 May 2024.
The new Salines car park, located at the western entrance to the Principality opposite the Exotic Garden, can accommodate racegoers driving to the events, who are encouraged to reach Monaco via the Moyenne Corniche road.
With approximately 1,800 parking spaces, Salines provides easy access to the circuit at more affordable prices.
The Monaco Circuit can be reached on foot in 15 minutes by taking the Galerie des Salines and following a carefully marked pedestrian path, or one of the shuttles provided specially for racegoers by the Monegasque Bus Company (CAM).
Customers should carefully conserve their parking ticket, which can be shown for free travel on the “Circuit Shuttle (‘Navettes’)” on the way in, and the “Salines Shuttle (‘Navettes’)” on the way back. Service will run every 10 minutes between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm from the Salines car park to the stop located on Avenue Albert II in Fontvieille, after which spectators can walk or take a lift to Place d’Armes and the Monaco Circuit. Reduced mobility passengers are encouraged to use these lifts.
Parking at the Salines car park is an alternative to intense traffic caused by the events and a more affordable parking solution.
Excluding Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May, during all events, parking for a duration of:
- 15 minutes to four hours costs €7.50 (compared to €14.90 in other car parks)
- four to 12 hours costs €11 (compared to €24 for 12 hours at other car parks)
On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May, a full-day rate of €20 is available for vehicles entering the car park before 3 pm (compared to €25 advertised for other car parks), for more than 3 hours of parking.
