Charity concert by the Orchestra of the Palace Guards - Wednesday 9 June - Roof terrace of the Lycée Albert-Ier
The Orchestra of the Palace Guards will be giving a jazz concert on Wednesday 9 June on the roof terrace of the Lycée Albert Ier, in aid of Monaco Disease Power and Monaco Humanitarian Aid.
The aim of this musical performance is twofold:
- to enable students of the Lycée who are members of the H2O Humanitarian Club to complete the activity undertaken throughout the year to promote disability integration in schools. Numerous activities have taken place each term and this charity concert will enable the students to make a donation to these two Monegasque associations, which work to improve the daily lives of people with disabilities;
- to promote the communications activities of the Palace Guards, which is currently in the process of recruiting new Palace Guard musicians, and inform young people that, after high school, they can opt for an outstanding career in the service of H.S.H. the Prince by becoming one of His Palace Guards.
This concert will be the first of the three forthcoming performances granted by H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince for 2021, as a prelude to the "Fête de la musique" musical event on 19 June in Annot (04), and the World Expo in Dubai on 13 November 2021.
