Isabelle Berro-Amadeï takes part in the 45th Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie in Paris
On 3 October 2024, Ms Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, led the Monegasque Delegation* that took part in the 45th Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie (CMF) held in Paris.
Representatives of International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) member states and governments met to complete preparations for the 19th Summit of the Francophonie under the banner: “Create, innovate and do business in French”, which H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince attended on 4 and 5 October.
During the Ministerial Conference, Isabelle Berro-Amadeï said that: “the theme chosen by France illustrates the potential for action in the French-speaking world and should reaffirm our commitment to the democratic stability and prosperity of our societies”.
She also pointed out that “Creating, innovating and doing business in French ensures the preservation of our shared heritage, both of cultural diversity in the French-speaking world and tolerance”.
The next Ministerial Conference will be held in the fall of 2025 in Kigali (Rwanda).
* The delegation was composed of Ms Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation; H.E. Ms Valérie Bruell-Melchior, Ambassador and Personal Representative of Monaco to the OIF; Ms Chloé Petruccelli, Division Head at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation; and Ms Alice Pastor, Second Secretary at the Embassy of the Principality of Monaco in France.
