Covid-19 : Weekly health report for the Principality

As of Monday 29 August, since the beginning of the health crisis, the health balance sheet in the Principality stood at 14,377 people affected by the coronavirus.

At the same time, 14,268 people have been declared cured.

Last week (from 22/08 to 28/08), 42 new Covid-19 positive cases were revealed.
As of Monday 29 August, 9 people, including 8 residents, were hospitalised at the CHPG. None of them were being treated in intensive care.

On Monday evening, 21 people were being monitored by the Centre de Suivi à Domicile, which provides medical support to patients with few symptoms who have been advised to stay at home.

In order to comply with the practices adopted by the World Health Organisation and neighbouring countries in this matter, this health report only mentions resident persons affected by the coronavirus.

The Princely Government also communicates the figures relating to screening. These figures are as of Sunday 28 August.

- Number of tests performed on resident and non-resident patients between 22/08 and 28/08 inclusive: 839 PCR and antigenic tests.
- Positivity rate of tests performed on residents and non-residents: 11.3 %.
- Incidence rate, i.e. the number of positive persons based on 100,000 persons over the past 7 days: 107 (89 the previous week).
