COVID-19: 71 new positive cases and 28 recoveries on Tuesday 5 April

Seventy-one new positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded on Tuesday 5 April.

This brings the Principality’s total coronavirus cases since the beginning of the health crisis to 10,943.

This evening, 36 people, including 26 residents, are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital. There are no patients in intensive care.

Twenty-eight further recoveries have been reported, bringing the total number of people who have so far recovered to 10,696.

This Tuesday evening, 149 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre, which offers medical support to those with minor symptoms who are asked to self-isolate at home.
