Two Highlights of the Start of the New 2017/2018 School Year

This morning, Ms. Isabelle Bonnal, Director of Education, Youth and Sport, accompanied by Ms. Marie-Cécile Moreno, Deputy Director, visited the Collège Charles III and the École de la Condamine to follow the start of the new school year as closely as possible. The start of this new term was marked by two highlights in particular.

At the Collège Charles III, the start of term took place in a musical atmosphere.  When they arrived for registration, pupils from all classes (from Year 7 to Year 10) were therefore privileged to be given a musical welcome by a group from the Rainier III Academy of Music and Theatre.  This group was comprised of three musicians (guitar, bass and drums), conducted by Ludovic Tallarico (a teacher at the Academy), and performed well-known jazz tunes.

At the École de la Condamine, Ms. Isabelle Bonnal was able to note the implementation of a dress code for Years 2, 3 and 4.  In line with a request made to parents, the pupils were all dressed in a white polo shirt bearing the school's coat of arms, thus expressing their membership of the École de la Condamine and showcasing the Monegasque identity.
