Baccalaureate - Outstanding results for the 2025 end-of-year examinations
The pass rate for the first set of exams in the 2025 baccalaureate reached nearly 99% in the general stream, reflecting a high level of preparation and success.
With over 320 honours across all programmes, including 76 ‘Très Bien’ (highest honours) grades, the Principality stands out yet again for the quality of the courses and support offered to its secondary school students.
Breakdown of results by stream
General stream: 98.98% of students from the Lycée Albert I and Lycée François d'Assise – Nicolas Barré were successful, including 83.96% with honours (246 honours):
• 65 ‘Très Bien’ (highest honours), including 6 with 'Félicitations du Jury' (jury commendations).
• 93 'Bien' (high honours)
• 88 'Assez Bien' (honours)
Technology stream: 94.12% of students passed their exams, including 64.17% with honours (33 honours):
• 8 'Bien' (high honours)
• 25 'Assez Bien' (honours)
Professional stream: 95.59% pass rate for students at Lycée Rainier III, including 69.12% with honours (47 honours):
• 11 'Très Bien' (highest honours), including 2 with 'Félicitations du Jury' (jury commendations)
• 19 'Bien' (high honours)
• 17 'Assez Bien' (honours)
The pass rate for the first group of exams in the 2025 baccalaureate, all subjects combined, reached 97.82%
In terms of higher education, the results are also remarkable, with a 100% pass rate for the BTS in Management Support and the BTS in Accounting and Management at the Lycée Rainier III. For the BTS in Hotel and Restaurant Management, 16 out of the 17 students at the Lycée Rainier III were successful.
The Prince's Government extends its warmest congratulations to all those who succeeded; their commitment and perseverance have been rewarded with excellent results. The Government also wishes to acknowledge the quality of the educational support provided in each establishment, and would like to thank the management teams, as well as both teaching and non-teaching staff. Furthermore, much gratitude goes to the Department of Education, Youth and Sports for its constant support to schools and students, which has played a tremendous role in this collective achievement.
