Bad weather: children can be collected from school now

The weather forecast for this afternoon and this evening has placed the Principality of Monaco on yellow alert (for rain and wind).

As a precaution and to facilitate people’s journeys home, the Prince’s Government has decided that parents who wish to do so may go and collect their child(ren) now, though schools and crèches will not be closed.

Children who cannot be picked up by their parents will continue to be cared for at school as normal.

In addition, the Prince’s Government is asking employers in the private and public sectors to allow staff to leave offices early and encourage teleworking from early afternoon.
