On Sunday 18 March, an afternoon devoted to energy transition was held at the Stars'N'Bars, featuring games and workshops.  This free event was open to all ages and all nationalities.

The aim of this operation, which was coordinated by the Mission for Energy Transition of the Prince's Government, was to raise Residents' awareness and help them reduce their carbon footprint.

This afternoon event, which was attended by approximately 200 people, was a great success.  Ten workshops were devoted to children, who were the target audience for energy transition – educational and awareness-raising games on the theme of sustainable development;  a stand for making original recycled items;  a workshop on making Greenkits (small plants and seedlings to take home);  a workshop on vegetable gardens and urban farming, yoga and bicycle sessions to create smoothies using pedal power.

For adults, there were five video screens, on which four films on energy transition in the Principality were screened, a state-of-the-art compressed air car, a "solar survey" stand and a workshop on "Signing the National Energy Transition Pact," at which dozens of memberships were collected.

Marie-Pierre Gramaglia, Minister of Public Works, the Environment and Urban Development and Cyril Gomez, its Director General, attended the event with their families to support their staff and take part in the workshops.
