Mr Jean-Philippe Vinci appointed Director of Education, Youth and Sport

After 13 years at the helm of this important department, Ms Isabelle Bonnal will pass on leadership of the Department of Education, Youth and Sport to Mr Jean-Philippe Vinci, appointed its new Director as of 1 July 2024.

A graduate of the high-level competitive examination for teachers (Agrégation) in Philosophy, Mr Jean-Philippe Vinci holds a master’s degree from Sciences Po Paris, where he was also a lecturer. He has been a professor at Lycée Albert I since 1996.  His experience in administration, including three years as a project leader at the Department of Education, Youth and Sport, as well as missions for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Council of Europe, are major assets for his new responsibilities.

He also sits on the Board of Directors of the Prince Pierre Foundation and is a member of the Princess Grace Theatre management committee.

The Prince’s Government commends Ms Isabelle Bonnal for the investment and unwavering commitment she has shown throughout her career as head of Education, Youth and Sport, and thanks her for the initiatives she has led in this strategic area.

The Prince’s Government wishes Mr Jean-Philippe Vinci every success in his new and very important role.
