Film screening at Stade Louis II

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Stade Louis II. To celebrate the event, the stadium is hosting a three-part celebration of the history and ambitions of this one-of-a-kind venue.

After a tribute to those who built the stadium, highlighting the challenges of the project –– a technical feat and symbol of urban development in the Fontvieille district –– and renovations to the interior pedestrianised street, as well as an exhibition entitled “Once upon a first time”, a third event is scheduled.

On Thursday 24 July, the public is invited to a screening of Luc Besson’s film “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” on the stadium’s brand-new big screen.

 or the first time ever, the venue will become an open-air cinema complete with lounge chairs and popcorn.

The film will begin at 8.30 pm and stadium doors will open at 7pm.

Please note that seating is limited. Passes can be picked up directly at the stadium office, Monday to Friday, between 10 am and 5 pm.
