Christophe Robino appointed Minister of Health and Social Affairs

By Sovereign Ordinance of 13 April 2022, Mr Christophe Robino was appointed Minister of Health and Social Affairs by H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince. He assumed his new functions on Wednesday 20 April 2022, succeeding Mr Didier Gamerdinger.

Among the key priorities in his new role, Christophe Robino wants to continue to guarantee the excellence of Monaco’s healthcare system, maintain an effective protection model, particularly for the most vulnerable, and promote new social advances.

A Doctor of Medicine, specialist in Nephrology and Critical Care Medicine, Head of the Medical Specialties-Haemodialysis Department at Princess Grace Hospital (CHPG), Medical Director of the Monaco Private Haemodialysis Centre, President of the Union of Hospital Practitioners, Member of the CHPG Board of Directors, Vice-President of the Council of the Order of Doctors, and Member of the Improvement Committee of the Monaco Scientific Centre, Christophe Robino was elected to the National Council in 2013. There, he served as President of the Education, Youth and Sports Committee, then in 2018 as President of the Social Interests and Diverse Affairs Committee. He has also actively participated in meetings of the Covid-19 Joint Monitoring Committee set up in March 2020.
