Introduction of One-Way Traffic in the Boulevard du Larvotto
As part of the Testimonio II project, which will involve, in particular, the construction of 336 State-owned dwellings, work on the networks (water, telecommunications and electricity) will result in changes to traffic management from Monday 29 July from 7.30 a.m. to the end of the day on Friday 23 August.
In order to limit the impact on traffic flow, a one-way system was preferred for the Boulevard du Larvotto, rather than alternating traffic.
To optimise the movement of traffic into and out of the Principality, this one-way system has been scheduled as follows:
• from 7.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m., traffic will be permitted in the direction of Menton to Monaco, in order to facilitate traffic flow into the Principality.
• from 11.30 a.m. until 7.30 a.m. the following day, traffic will be permitted in the direction of Monaco to Menton, in order to facilitate traffic flow out of the Principality.
On Saturdays and Sundays, traffic will be permitted in the direction of Monaco to Menton.
During the long weekend in mid-August, between Thursday 15 and Monday 19 August at 7.30 a.m., traffic will be permitted in both directions.
Throughout the work, access to residences and buildings in the Boulevard du Larvotto will be maintained. Entry to and exit from public and private car parks will respect the direction of the traffic.
