A new, simplified hotline number for victims of violence
A new telephone number – 39 19 – has been created to make it easier for victims of violence to access information. Easy to remember and completely free of charge, the number replaces the one previously in place: 0800 91 90 10.
Identical to the French hotline number, 39 19 redirects calls from the Principality to the Assistance for Victims of Criminal Offences Association (AVIP), which informs victims of everything they need to know.
This hotline provides discreet access to information regardless of the type of violence involved, including rape and sexual violence, domestic violence, sexual harassment and workplace violence.
Led by the Women’s Rights Committee, this initiative reaffirms the Prince’s Government’s commitment to protect victims of violence by offering fast and effective assistance that takes into account the specificities of cases in Monaco.
For emergencies, people should call 17 or 112.
