COVID-19: Two New Positive Cases and One Death on Tuesday 1 June

Two new positive cases of COVID-19 were identified on Tuesday 1 June.

This therefore brings the overall health figures for the Principality to 2,506 people affected by the Coronavirus since the beginning of the health crisis.

Sadly, a 96-year-old resident who tested positive for the COVID-19 virus has died. This is the 33rd death linked to the Coronavirus since the beginning of the epidemic in the Principality. The Prince's Government express its full support to the family and friends of this person at this time of great sorrow in Monaco.

This evening, one person, who is non-resident, is in intensive care at the CHPG.

The total number of people who have recovered amounts to 2,467.

This Tuesday evening, four people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.

The Government recalls the importance of being vaccinated, emphasising the protective nature of the vaccination.

In line with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, these daily health assessment figures report only on resident persons affected by the Coronavirus.
