COVID-19: Two New Positive Cases and Five Recoveries on Monday 12th July

Two new positive cases of COVID-19 were identified on Monday 12th July.

This therefore brings the overall health figures for the Principality to 2,624 people affected by the Coronavirus since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, four persons are hospitalised at Princess Grace Hospital. Among them, one is resident and one is being treated in intensive care.

There are two further recoveries to be noted. The total number of people who have recovered is 2,548.

This Monday evening, 32 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.

In line with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, these daily health assessment figures report only on resident persons affected by the Coronavirus.

The Prince's Government is also communicating the figures relating to testing. These figures are as of Sunday 11th July inclusive.

-         Number of tests carried out on resident and non-resident patients between 04/07 and 11/07 inclusive:  3,902 PCR and antigen tests.

-         Rate of positive tests carried out on residents and non-residents:  1.8%

-         Incidence rate, i.e. the number of positive Coronavirus cases per 100,000 inhabitants over the past seven days:  91.26 (41.72, last week).
