COVID-19: Three New Positive Cases and Five Recoveries on Monday 19 October

Three new positive cases of COVID-19 were identified this Monday.

This therefore brings the overall health figures for the Principality to 268 people affected by the Coronavirus.

This evening, eleven patients are being cared for at the CHPG:  seven patients, four of whom are residents, are hospitalised.  In addition, four patients, two of whom are residents, are being treated in intensive care.

There are five recoveries to be noted.  The total number of people who have recovered amounts to 222.

This Monday evening, 38 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.

In line with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, these daily health assessment figures report only on resident persons affected by the Coronavirus.
