Police Department New Year Address

The traditional Police Department New Year Address took place this morning under the chairmanship of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince and in the presence of the Minister of the Interior, Lionel Beffre and senior Monegasque officials.

Police Commissioner Eric Arella, appointed last September to head the 620 men and women who make up the Police Department, reviewed the highlights of 2024 and presented the crime statistics for the year, which remain largely under control. He also spoke about improvements that are planned in the upcoming months.

During his address to those present and to his staff, Mr Arella also paid tribute to the late H.E. the Minister of State Didier Guillaume.
