Presentation of Medals on the Occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the Creation of the Employment Tribunal

A ceremony took place at the Méridien Beach Plaza on 29 June 2021 to celebrate the 75^th anniversary of the establishment of the Employment Tribunal. A meal was organised in honour of this Institution, which was created by the Act of 16 May 1946, amended by Act. No. 1.375 of 16 December 2010. It was held in the presence of Mr. Robert Gelli, Secretary of Justice, Mr. Didier Gamerdinger, Minister of Health and Social Affairs, and Mr. Michel Soriano, Justice of the Peace and Chair of the Judgment Panel.

At this ceremony, the Chair of the Employment Tribunal, Mr. Karim Tabchiche, recalled the important dates that marked this bipartite jurisdiction.

During this evening event, Mr. Karim Tabchiche and Mr. Michel Gramaglia, Vice-Chair, presented each member with a personalised Employment Tribunal medal, a symbol of the power they hold by virtue of their investiture and their oath to dispense fair and equitable justice.
