The charity Pink Ribbon Monaco* has presented a cheque for 25,000 euros to the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace, to help fund the hospital’s pioneering research into the treatment of lobular breast cancers.

The aim is to use a new type of medical imaging to better identify this type of cancer, locate metastases more effectively, and provide better treatment to improve survival rates by means of fast, targeted action.

* Pink Ribbon Monaco was created in 2011 to raise funds and awareness about breast cancer while offering individual support to patients.
