Official opening of the Franco-Monegasque psychiatric day centre for children and adolescents in Beausoleil
On Friday 15 September, the Franco-Monegasque psychiatric day centre for young people was opened following the signing of a partnership agreement between the LENVAL Foundation and the Department of Health Affairs, setting out how it will operate.
The aim of this new health facility, located at 46 rue du Professeur Langevin in the Commune of Beausoleil, is to offer a comprehensive outpatient service for children and adolescents, up to the age of 18, suffering from complex psychopathological disorders.
The centre can offer 35 places, 17 of which are reserved for children residents or at school in the Principality. These young people will be accepted exclusively upon referral by a child psychiatrist from the Centre Plati in Monaco, a centre for the psychological health of children and adolescents under the direction of the Department of Health Affairs (DASA).
The day centre will work in close collaboration with the actors involved in the provision of care, health and social services, national education, youth provision and sport in the Principality.
