New Premises for Two Offices of the Department of Social Welfare and Social Services
Following their move to new premises, since Monday 7 May, the Children and Families Office, which was previously situated in the San Sebastian and Les Cèdres buildings, and the Social Inclusion and Disability Office, previously located at the Louis II Stadium, are now grouped together on the same site as their Department, on the 2nd floor of the Fontvieille Shopping Centre (via the lift at the Pharmacie de Fontvieille).
According to the Minister of Health and Social Affairs and, Didier Gamerdinger, who wished to meet professionals from the Department on this occasion, these new reception areas "make it possible to better centralise the Principality's social action, in a more functional way, in a Department that has forged privileged and positive links with its beneficiaries over the years" in all of its areas of intervention, particularly with regard to providing assistance to people with disabilities, as well as and psycho-social and educational support for children at risk and people with disabilities (children and adults).
