H.S.H. Prince Albert II opens Tamaris consultation centre
On Tuesday 16 February, H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince opened the new Princess Grace Hospital outpatient consultation centre in the Tamaris complex.*
Accompanied by the Director of Princess Grace Hospital Patrick Bini, Minister of Health and Social Affairs Stéphane Valeri and Director of the Public Works Office Olivier Lavagna, the Prince visited the consultation rooms on the fifth floor as well as the new check-up unit, which will open its doors at the beginning of March. Doctor Gilles Chironi, a Monegasque specialist, heads up the new unit, which he presented to the Prince, emphasising how great an asset it is for the excellence of care at Princess Grace Hospital. Dr Chironi previously led the check-up unit at the Georges Pompidou Hospital in Paris.
*The new consultation centre, located in Tamaris Block C, will accommodate outpatient consultations for ophthalmology, paediatric care, anaesthesia, rheumatology, dermatology, endocrinology, gynaecology and obstetric care, and the Pain Management Centre.
