Covid-19 : 5 new positive cases and 4 recoveries on Monday 25 October

Five new positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded on Monday 25 October.

This brings the Principality’s total coronavirus cases since the beginning of the health crisis to 3,394.

This evening, three patients, none of whom are residents, are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital.

Four further recoveries have been reported, bringing the total number of people who have recovered to 3,327.

This Monday evening, 18 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre, which offers medical support to those with minor symptoms who are asked to self-isolate at home.

In accordance with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this area, this daily update reports coronavirus cases among residents only.

The Prince’s Government is also releasing figures relating to testing. These figures include data up to Sunday 24 October inclusive.

  • Number of tests carried out on residents and non-residents between 18/10 and 24/10 inclusive: 3,258 PCR and antigen tests.
  • Positivity rate of tests carried out on residents and non-residents: 1.63%.
  • Incidence rate, i.e. the number of positive tests per 100,000 people over the past seven days: 80.83 (59.97 last week).
